Wear only natural fibres such as wool or cotton. Only use paraffin as fuel. Other fuels can burn too hot for safety, or produce toxic fumes. Don't wear hairspray or hair gel whilst fire juggling, as these products are highly inflammable. If you have long hair, tie it back. If you stop juggling while the torches are lit, hold them with the wicks uppermost, to prevent burnt knuckles and damage to the handles. Always keep your paraffin away from where you are juggling.
